Selvix is an AI advisor for language schools, currently in private beta. This page explains, plainly, what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short on purpose.

Who we are

Selvix builds and hosts an AI advisor that answers prospective students on a school's behalf. We operate the service and the console that schools use to manage the resulting conversations and leads.

What we collect

• Early-access requests. When you fill in the request form, we collect your first and last name, your school, your website (if you provide it), your country, your email address, and any message you choose to add. We use these only to reply to you and to assess beta applications.
• Demo conversations. When you chat with our on-site demo (Sofia, or a partner school's advisor), the messages you send are processed to generate replies and may be stored so we can run and improve the product. Please don't share sensitive personal details in a demo conversation — it isn't needed to try the product.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our servers record standard request information (for example your IP address and browser) to keep the service secure and working.

Why we process it

To respond to your request, to run the private beta, to operate and secure the service, and to improve the product. Where the law requires it, we rely on your consent (which you can withdraw) or on our legitimate interest in running and improving Selvix.

Where your data is hosted

Switzerland. The service and its data are Swiss-hosted. To deliver email notifications we use a transactional email provider, and to generate conversation replies we use a third-party AI provider (Anthropic). These providers process only what is needed for those specific tasks.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it — to reply to your request, to run the beta, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

Under Swiss data-protection law (nLPD) and the EU GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. We'll honour valid requests.
